Conceptualised, designed, and crafted locally by Weylandts, our Nova Modular Sofa collection has been refined and developed over the course of years. Led by a deep and longstanding heritage of design, the Nova is a timeless expression of innovation and longevity.

Sourced from India, a place renowned for its rich history of weaving, these carpets draw on the communal ritual of river washing. Taking lead from a long-standing practice where flowing waters served as both cleanse and conduit.

In regions like Kashmir, craftsmen have long washed delicate carpets and Pashmina shawls along the Jhelum's banks, each thread immersed in both water and heritage. This lineage of washing and community informs the designs that secure these gatherings in ritual.

Crafted in Haryana, Kolkata and Uttar Pradesh, the weaves and looms of these hand knotted carpets tell the deeply intimate story of their source. Honouring the materials, craft, and culture of their origins, these pieces feel like a map.
